The Multi Direct Base IIa is a base adapter to add a ball-joint on handle of a digital SLR housing, dedicated mount of a housing or grip base for compact digital cameras to have a strobe or other lighting device via connecting arm with a clamp. (*2) "Wireless Connection" is not compatible when using this product to attach an external strobe since combined LED flashlight etc. on this product may block installation/free movement of a Mirror Unit (Strobe) which is necessary for "Wireless Connection", where most likely the built-in flash light may not be properly detected. Use "Optical Cable Connection" with compatible optical cable product like "Optical D Cable Type L / Cap Set" to connect between an external strobe and camera's built-in flash.

An optional product to attach single LE series LED flashlight on a tripod which is equipped with 1/4-20UNC screw or "Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC" offering various off-camera applications such as back lighting with a light attached on a tripod, fish lamp in black water diving etc. Combination with the "Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC" can install compatible light simply on an accessory shoe of an underwater housing.
