■Dome Wide Filter LF-W
The "Dome Wide Filter LF-W" is not only to increase original coverage of the LF1100-W / LF2700-W approx. 85 degree to approx. 100 degree and soften the light quality but spread beam up to approx. 180 degree visible to create your own image with its unique light distribution in addition to use as a locator or fish lamp.
■Compatible LED flashlight
LF1100-W, LF2700-W
■Converter LF-W for UWL-100 28AD
An adapter ring to attach "UWL-100 28AD" wide conversion lens on "LF2700-W" or "LF1100-W" to increase beam angle to approx. 100°. Using optical lens to widen coverage has advantage not to sacrifice power but provide natural seamless light distribution from center to edge. Ideal for professional use as high quality photographic lighting source.
■Compatible LED flashlight
LF1100-W, LF2700-W
The "Converter LF-W for UWL-100 28AD" is not usable when the compatible LED flashlight is combined with INON Z-240/D-2000/S-2000 Strobe via "Strobe Light Holder LF". When two LED flashlights are attached on "Strobe Light Holder LF" without INON Z-240/D-2000 /S-2000, either one can have "Converter LF-W for UWL-100 28AD".
■Color Filter LF-N Set
The Color Filter LF-N Set is a set of two color filters and filter holder for the LF800-N to change color tone of the beam. The "Red Filter LF-N" changes the light to red not to scare shy subject. The "Blue Filter LF-N" calibrates color best suited as constant light for underwater imaging.
The Filter Holder LF-N has screw mount on its front end to stack optional “Condenser Lens LF-N” to have various combinations for different applications..
The Color Filter LF-N Set is designed for underwater use only and not usable on land.
■Condenser Lens LF-N
The Condenser Lens LF-N is an optional lens for the LF800-N to condense light beam for narrower beam and closer working range to expand possibility for totally new underwater imaging with pinpoint lighting etc. Usable for macro imaging with constant light source as the lens increases center brightness. The lens has screw mount on its front end to stack another Condenser Lens LF-N to have even closer working range and narrower beam. Rear end of the lens barrel can hold packaged "Red Filter LF-N" or "Blue Filter LF-N".
The Condenser Lens LF-N is designed for underwater use only and not usable on land.
LF800-N Working Range
Number of Condenser Lens LF-N |
Working distance [Min.] |
Working distance [Max.] (*1) |
Diameter of lit area [Min.] |
|
---|---|---|---|---|
Air | Nil (Not usable on land) | approx. 22cm/8.66in | ∞ | approx. 6.5cm/2.56in |
Underwater | Nil | approx. 30cm/11.8in | ∞ | approx. 7.0cm/2.76in |
1 | approx. 15cm/5.91in | ∞ (*2) | approx. 3.5cm/1.38in | |
2 | approx. 11cm/4.33in | approx. 32cm/12.6in | approx. 2.0cm/0.79in |
(*1) Theoretical working distance to illuminate a subject without significant center spot and not same as the maximum distance this product can deliver light.
(*2) When illuminating a subject at approx.55cm/21.6in away or greater, using Condenser Lens LF-N will have bigger lit area.
A filter of LE series LED flashlight is an optical grade acrylic fly-eye lens carrying high transmittance. The fly-eye lens consists of many of small lenses as like compound multifaceted eyes of insects and diffuses light source to illuminate a subject evenly. The advantage of the fly-eye lens over general translucent diffuser panel for a lighting device, is its high diffusional efficiency to widen beam coverage with less attenuation.
The "W40° Filter LE" and "W50° Filter LE" has two laminated fly-eye lenses with hollow construction to effectively diffuse light even underwater.
W40° Filter LE
[Packaged with LE250/LE240]
Compatible product: LE250, LE240
Effectively diffuse LED flashlight to provide natural and seamless wide LED light (approx. 40° ).
W50° Filter LE
[Packaged with LE700-S Type2/LE350 Type2/LE700-S/LE350]
Compatible product: LE700-S Type2, LE350 Type2, LE700-S, LE350, LE550-S, LE250, LE240
Effectively diffuse LED flashlight to provide natural and seamless wide LED light (approx. 50° with LE250 / LE240, 65° with LE550-S and 60° with LE700-S Type2 / LE700-S / LE350 Type2 / LE350) which is ideal as close range fill-in light for photography.
The "Red Filter LE" provides red light not stimulating shy subject so ideal for observing underwater life like spawning in dusk.
* "Red Filter LE" is underwater use only.

Above combination is reference information when you select which Filter to use for your particular camera system.
The field test has been conducted on a like-for-like basis with same camera / subject / composition as practical as possible and above combination is determined based on perceptually close color tone result comparing to same condition taken with INON strobe but not guaranteed to get accurate replication of color tone by strobe shooting. Please note that you may have different result when using different camera model besides above even from same camera manufacture.
